The second was Professor L. Hamilton.{wait} Mindful of the technological gap between regions, she long believed it was rural and remote areas that needed orbment technology more than any other. {wait} As such, she enlisted the help of the Bracer Guild, which already had a close relationship with the foundation, and formed a mission with the intent of promoting and spreading the technology where applicable.{wait} The professor herself also toured the regions with the aim of spreading public awareness and laying foundations for others to build on in the future.

{color 0}Two days after the assaults began, Cassius Bright (S-rank) arrived in the Imperial capital.{wait} He assumed the post of provisional representative of the Erebonian guild.{wait} After doing so, he assessed the damage to the guilds and called for the bracers assigned to them, who had become scattered in the chaos, to reconvene outside the city.{wait} He also ordered a halt to all orbal communications to prevent interception by the enemy.

{color 0}What eventually broke the deadlock was a brilliant strategy devised by CB.{wait} Having successfully made contact with a member of the Intelligence Division, he made them send a message to HQ in the hopes it would be intercepted by the enemy.{wait} What happened was exactly that; from the message, they were able to deduce the time and place the next meeting would be happen, and set about plotting his assassination.{wait} ...Exactly what CB hoped would happen.

The operator will communicate with the archaism without being in physical contact with it. This will require a compatible candidate to be found and chosen.

It will also have a Revival System, which will use an orbment to generate healing energy to heal or revive its operator in times of danger.

However, the professor has raised concerns about the low responsiveness of the flight engine. (This is especially true for the anti-gravity generator.)

He concluded that the engine as it stands cannot be put into actual use. The possibility of using boosters to provide additional propulsion is under consideration.

The increased size of the main weaponry means the archaism's weight during combat is significant, and as a result, problems have been occurring in durability tests, especially with the leg joints.

精密制御による負荷集中を避ける方向で 改善は可能になる見通し――

It may be possible to make improvements in this area by using precise control so the weight burden is spread evenly rather than focused on one point.
