This game of Poker involves two players, yourself and
Jack. There are 32 cards in all, and no Jokers are in
the deck.

At the beginning of the game, both players are dealt
three cards. There will also be three cards placed in
the center of the table face-up (table cards).

All other cards will be placed in the deck in the
center of the table, face down.

The player and Jack will take turns at forming a hand
of five cards from the six they have available (three
in hand plus three table cards), and the player with
the strongest hand wins the round.

Choosing the CHANGE option in the menu will allow you
to exchange the cards you have with cards in the deck
once. You can change one, two, or all your cards.

Selecting a card you want to keep will allow you to
place it in hold status. Only cards not in hold status
will be exchanged. Selecting a card in hold status
again will return it to normal.

If you don't want to exchange any of your cards, you
can place all of them in hold status and then choose
the CHANGE option.

Pressing the ALL HOLD button will allow you to place
all of the cards in your hand in hold status at once.
The other buttons will be explained later.

After the player has finished exchanging their cards,
Jack will do the same. Sometimes he too will keep all
of his cards.

Once both players have exchanged their hands, they
will select the five cards they want to use to form
their hand.

The table cards will be displayed next to the cards
in your hand and are semi-transparent. Select the
cards you want to use to choose them.

Just as the player chooses five cards, Jack will, too,
and the player with the strongest hand wins.

The winning player will gain one star in the top right
of the screen, while the losing player will lose one.
A draw results in neither player losing stars.

This process will repeat until one player has no stars
left, at which point the other player wins.

Here are the other menu options:

[Raise]
Only usable when you have two or more stars. You can
turn this on or off by selecting it.

If you turn it on, winning a round will gain you two
stars, but losing the round will lose you two instead.

[Fold]
Allows you to forfeit the round. Neither player will
lose any stars.

This allows you to avoid playing if your odds of
winning look poor, but it can't be used twice in a
row.

By pressing cancel while choosing your cards, you can
forfeit the game entirely.

There are ten hands in total.
If you both have the same hand, it's a draw.

These are the hands, listed from weakest to strongest.
